Join a major Australian Government technology program supporting enterprise-scale analytics platforms that deliver critical services to millions of Australians.

We're seeking experienced Senior SAS Platform Engineers to provide administration, support and continuous improvement of enterprise SAS environments, including SAS Viya and SAS Visual Enterprise Analytics (VEA). You'll play a key role in maintaining secure, high-performing infrastructure while contributing to platform enhancements and modernisation initiatives.

What you'll be doing

- Administer and support enterprise SAS Viya and SAS VEA environments.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents.
- Plan, test and implement security patches, upgrades and platform enhancements.
- Configure and optimise infrastructure to improve performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Work closely with infrastructure,



security and application teams to deliver resilient services.

What you'll bring

- Strong experience administering SAS Viya, SAS VEA or other SAS platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise Linux and/or cloud-based infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem management skills.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting.
- Knowledge of systems design, infrastructure operations and platform lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Desirable

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience within Australian Government or other large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise infrastructure operations.

Security Requirements

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and either hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
