Build your occupational therapist career in a stable allied health team, led by a supportive manager who has been with the organisation for 15 years. We’re flexible on what this role looks like for the right candidate, with full-time or part-time options available on either a permanent basis or a fixed-term contract, including short-term arrangements such as 3 to 6 months.
Regular outreach travel to surrounding communities is required, including overnight stays away from home as needed (frequency varies depending on service needs). Travel may involve driving or small plane flights, with travel completed during work hours where possible. Any required after-hours travel is supported through time in lieu, and a work vehicle is provided.

About the Role
- Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy services across the lifespan in home, school, workplace and community settings.
- Conduct functional, cognitive, developmental and environmental assessments to support client goals and independence.
- Recommend assistive technology, adaptive equipment and home modifications to enhance participation and quality of life.
- Educate and support clients, families, carers and stakeholders through person-centred, goal-focused interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare clinical documentation and contribute to health promotion and early intervention initiatives.
- Provide outreach services across regional and remote communities, travelling by fleet vehicle or small aircraft as required, with travel, accommodation and meals covered by NWRH.
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
