Personal Apartment Assistant/Cleaner/Organiser

This opportunity is to hire someone, personally, to be able to conduct personal tasks and contribute to my new apartment I will be moving into.

This position is full-time, in a temporary context until the work is complete. This may take 2 weeks.

You are essentially converting the apartment from unfurnished > furnished.

Assembling furniture will NOT be required.

This position is for someone that will follow instructions, is observant, and is good at communication.

The apartment has already been cleaned. It is important that the environment of the apartment is kept neat and approachable. At the end of the day, it really is about following instructions. Everything is written there. It needs to be followed. That is simply it.

If you have cleaning experience (background or current/more recent) this is a bonus.

And, aside from this specific job, there is the chance later, to clean the apartment on a weekly and ongoing (cleaner specifically) for this new apartment specifically for me.

It is incredibly important expectations, desires, standards and benchmarks are understood.

There are many parcels and small deliveries (kitchen items - crockery, pots, pans, cutlery. Personal items - coats, new clothing, blanket etc), that you will collect from reception, and handle this accordingly as instructed into specific wash cycles and dry cycles, or dishwasher cycles on alternating days. You must also ensure this is completed whilst maintaining a clean apartment and environment.

There will be natural gaps of time throughout the day where a cycle will be running and I will NOT specifically assign an alternating task whilst that appliance is running. So, if you:

- Need to keep physically active/moving at every physical moment of the day - This is not for you.

Essentially, this is about understanding the job, and just following through on the instructions.

There will be 1-2 furniture deliveries while you are employed for this job.





You will need to go downstairs and be available and accept these on my behalf, for the apartment, and ensure it is delivered into the correct room by the courier and assembled by the courier. (Essentially supervising - being my eyes and ears).

Essentially this is taking an unfurnished apartment to a furnished apartment state. This is to ‘fit’ the place out, ready for moving in.

The opportunity is suitable for those that are able to follow instructions, cleaning experience, great personal hygiene, eye for detail, observant, full time availability and hours for at least the next 2 weeks. There is the additional oppertunity after this, to come in on an independent day and assist with 1-2 deliveries that don’t quite arrive in time in the next 2 weeks in time, which would be appreciated.

You will complete the assigned tasks, assigned areas and instructions in the apartment pertinent to the shift on the day.

Ideally, this is for someone that has flexible availability and doesn’t mind working long hour days (with suitable, breaks in between) including after 10:00pm if required. This is to simply achieve all the tasks required in a timely manner, by completing what is required/assigned day by day.

Applicants that can accommodate and offer a wide range of available hours including extended hours and later into the evening/past midnight if required, or unrestricted working hours, will be preferenced over those that ‘don’t want to work past 9:00pm’ (just given the nature of the length of each shift).

Therefore for applicants with unrestricted schedules (no conflict of interest with other work), those that are happy working late, the unemployed, flexible, or are determined - You will be favoured over those that have limited availability (part time job)



or those which are only willing to work short shifts only i.e or ‘don’t work’ longer than 6 hours.

This job is entirely instruction based. There are no trick questions. It is very straight forward. I’m after someone that will follow instructions and can accommodate what is assigned for the new apartment. Being able to follow instructions is an absolute must.

- If you are patient, willing to work longer shifts. 10 hours each day + this job will suit you nicely. (This is not 10 hours of ‘Hands on’ labour - it may be running items through the dishwasher, then being presented with a break, being available for this to complete/dry/pack away, repeat etc). You will be paid for your time in the apartment.
- If you are able to digest instructions, follow specifically, and apply - this role is compatible.
- If you are someone that gets overwhelmed with instructions and flustered, unfortunately this role is not for you.
- If you are impatient, unreliable or have constant conflicts of interest with other work in your schedule for the next foreseeable 2 weeks, this unfortunately is also not for you.

You may also be required to visit Woolworths regularly to obtain products pertinent to the job which are directly relating to the organisation, clean, and application with instructions which are to be organised prior and to bring to the shift. The cost of the products will all be covered by me, and an additional small amount of income will also be offered in exchange for this part to you, in addition to your wage.

Obtaining your own washing machine and (optional drier machine but please tell me) is incredibly valuable and is highly preferenced.

(This will be relevant for any microfibre cloth washing). Laundromats are not preferred as it increases the risk of items being moved or stolen should it be unattended by you personally.

First shift will be prioritised as today. 31/07/2026.

You will be a personal hire.

You will be paid your hourly, despite the advertisement, even if this exceeds $38. Please make this known upon application.

Females preferred.

This is a one-person only position.

This job is not suitable for teams more than 1.
