We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer(Civil) to lead the design and delivery of civilinfrastructure projects across the City.

In this role, you will lead civil design projects from conceptthrough to completion, preparing and reviewing engineering designsand specifications while ensuring compliance with relevantstandards. You will provide technical guidance, engage with keystakeholders including consultants and contractors, and mentor teammembers to support high-quality project delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria when submitting your onlineapplication:

- High level of skill in all aspects of civil designingtechniques
- Expert knowledge of Austroads guidelines, Main Roadsstandards and Australian Standards
- Sound and efficient computer skills
- Ability to work under limited supervision and in a teamenvironment
- Expert knowledge in civil engineering design andpreparation of construction, documentation using AutoCAD andCivil 3D
- Detailed knowledge of urban and rural road design criteria,drainage design criteria and traffic management




- Detailed knowledge of cadastral information andinterpretation of field books, diagrams of survey and otherDepartment of Land Administration information
- Ability to incorporate construction techniques to thedesign
- Significant experience in delivering design for large andcomplex civil projects
- Significant experience of the use of "Civil 3D and AutoCad" design software, word processing, and spreadsheet
- Diploma of Civil Engineering or relevant higher academicqualification

We are offering a remuneration package from $111,967 to$119,224, depending on skills and experience and:

- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to afurther 5%
