About the Role

McColl Cabinetmakers Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator / Machinist to join our growing team in Ipswich.

This is a hands‑on role within our production team, where you will operate our CNC and edgebander to manufacture high‑quality cabinetry components. We have recently implemented Mozaik in addition to Microvellum, offering an excellent opportunity to work with and expand your skills across both systems. Experience in both systems is not required, we are willing to train.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operating CNC machinery and edgebander to produce cabinetry components
- Maintain efficient running of CNC machine using Microvellum and Mozaik to run on CNC
- Interpreting drawings and production data accurately




- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting machinery
- Working closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist (cabinetmaking preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years’ CNC experience in a cabinetmaking environment (preferred)
- Experience with Microvellum and/or Mozaik highly regarded
- Strong understanding of CNC setup, operation, and basic programming
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Problem‑solving ability and initiative
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
