Our Marine Tourism team is growing, and we're looking for enthusiastic Cruise Attendants / Deckhands to join us in Cairns.

If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to work on the Great Barrier Reef, we'd love to hear from you.

To be successful, you'll:

Be based in Cairns and available for an immediate start.

Be available to work weekends and public holidays.

Be seeking a long-term opportunity.

Hold, or be willing to obtain, Advanced First Aid, CPR, Oxygen Provider, RSA and Food Safety qualifications.

Have previous hospitality, deckhand, tourism or vessel experience (highly desirable).

About the Role

As a Cruise Attendant / Deckhand, you'll help deliver exceptional guest experiences while supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Reef Fleet vessels. This is a hands‑on role offering variety, teamwork and the opportunity to work in one of the world's most spectacular natural environments.

Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver outstanding customer service from check‑in through to departure.




- Welcome and assist guests throughout their day on the reef.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including bar service.
- Assist with deckhand duties, including vessel preparation, mooring, line handling and equipment handling.
- Support the Skipper and crew with day‑to‑day vessel operations.
- Load, unload and replenish stock and supplies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety onboard.
- Create memorable experiences for every guest.
