About the role

Ruga's Cafe is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Cafe All-Rounder to join our team in Taperoo, SA. This is a casual position, offering 15-25 hours, Monday-Friday and the option for every third Saturday. Need to be available for early mornings (6AM).Opportunity for more responsibility and hours for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and serving a variety of cold beverages

- Food preparation, including preparing ingredients and assembling sandwiches, salads, and other light meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness

- Providing excellent customer service by taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive customer experience

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including regular cleaning and restocking

- Assisting with other kitchen and front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a food service/kitchen role, preferably in a cafe or similar environment

- Solid communication skills,



with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

- Flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Basic food handling and preparation skills

- Barista experience is preferred but not essential
