We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and reliable Senior Tennis Coach to join our growing team in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. This is an exciting opportunity for coaches who enjoy working with players of all ages and abilities, from beginners through to tournament-level competitors. We are looking for energetic and passionate tennis professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality tennis instruction and helping players achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and key responsibilities of this position are to:

- coach, train and instruct participants in tennis by analysing their performances and developing their abilities;
- observe and analyse the performance of tennis players;
- coach and instruct tennis players including:
- delivering private coaching lessons for junior and adult players;
- conducting group coaching sessions for players of all standards;
- coaching beginner, intermediate and advanced players;
- facilitating and coaching school holiday tennis camps;

- assist with junior play development pathways;
- oversee training and evaluate the physical condition of tennis players;




- prescribe routines and corrective exercises to strengthen muscles and improve fitness;
- plan and direct match strategies, develop play patterns, analyse match progress and motivate and instruct tennis players;
- conduct post-match analysis of play, evaluate performances and make changes in strategy;
- arrange entries into competitions and guide player experience in competitive play;
- officiate at competitions to enforce rules;
- coordinate and direct sporting activities, and liaise with other officials to interpret and enforce rules and regulations; and
- assist with recruiting players and other coaching staff.

Skill & Experience

Essential criteria and qualifications:

- Qualifications: Tennis Australia Club Professional qualification or higher (or equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full time coaching experience
- Compliance: Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid / CPR certification
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of growing coaching programs
