The Facilities Support Officer works within a close knit, dynamic team environment within the SAPOL Facility Management Unit (FMU) in the Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB). The role provides key facilities support to FMU, which is responsible for the management and oversight of facilities across SAPOL and for the delivery of facility management services to ensure that the portfolio is maintained to an optimum level in support of Policing Operations.

The Facilities Support Officer provides effective and efficient coordination of facilities management activities including accurate facilities job entries, maintaining databases, administrative support and assisting with invoicing coding. Tasks also include responding to breakdown and preventative maintenance work requests, assisting as required with accommodation management, minor work projects, replacement and refurbishment and condition compliance managed through the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA), supporting SAPOL’s built asset portfolio of buildings and facilities across the state.

PASB is comprised of seven units: Capital Projects Unit, Major Projects Unit, Strategic Infrastructure Unit, Contracts, Impound and Armoury Unit, Strategic Operations: Fleet & Property, Facilities Management Unit, and Business Unit. A 'one team' mindset driven by leadership at all levels,

Special Conditions

- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

Salary

ASO3 - $74,095 - $78,694 per annum.
