About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker with ARS, you will be working in our ILO teams, supporting participants with complex behaviour support needs and Mental Health presentations and recovery.
· Deliver person-centred supports aligned with individual support plans
· Promote independence, dignity, and choice
· Contribute to a positive mental health recovery and support culture
· Support participants in ILO, In home and Community Access settings
· Maintain accurate and professional documentation (we value Data and Documentation)
· Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies
· Always maintain professional boundaries. We are here to heal our participants, not to harm them.
· Contribute to a safe and respectful environment for participants and your fellow team members. We have a 2026 focus on your safety both physically and emotionally.




This role requires emotional intelligence, resilience, accountability, and strong communication skills.

What We’re Looking For
You will bring:
· Minimum 12 months disability or community services experience (preferred)
· Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or willingness to obtain) or any Mental Health qualifications
· Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
· Current Blue Card (QLD)
· First Aid & CPR
· Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
· Enclosed, and non-slip professional and safe footwear
· Ability to follow policies, procedures and professional boundaries
· Confidence in managing behaviours of concern (desirable)
· Experience in SIL or high intensity supports (highly regarded)
