As the successful Senior Sales Manager you'll lead a team of Account Executives across the Canberra Federal Government sector and the wider Australian State Government departments, with a transparent mandate to grow. This is not a role where you manage from a dashboard. You'll be in the room opening doors at executive level, shaping deals, and coaching your team through the ones that matter.

You'll own:

- Total software revenue and the growth plan behind it
- Direct leadership, coaching and development of your AE team
- Executive and C-level relationships across government agencies
- Modernisation and expansion within a substantial existing customer base
- Partner ecosystem development as a part of your go-to-market

What we're looking for:

- Sales management experience ideally with a software vendor, selling into public sector




- A track record of building and executing a credible public sector GTM strategy
- Genuine coaching ability, you develop people, you don't just performance-manage them
- Experience developing a partner ecosystem
- Proven C-level negotiation and the ability to close large, strategic deals
- Real relationships inside government agencies, and the credibility to open new ones
- Strength in selling business outcomes and modernisation programs, not product features
