As a Senior Manager/ Associate Director – Deals Transaction Services at PwC, you’ll bring your financial due diligence expertise, transaction services background, and digital fluency to shape high-impact M&A; transactions and guide clients through their most critical decisions. You’ll work with private equity, infrastructure funds, ASX listed and large private businesses, uncovering the financial DNA of targets and influencing strategy on both buy and sell side engagements.

What you’ll do
- Lead and deliver complex, well-structured financial due diligence, producing high-quality insights that support major transactions and maximise value for clients
- Oversee buy-side and sell-side engagements, analysing financial performance, key value drivers and risks to inform critical deal decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
- Build deep sector and client understanding, equipping clients with data-driven insights that accelerate deal outcomes
- Leverage PwC’s advanced tools, including AI and analytics, to enhance delivery, elevate the client experience and build digital capability
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members,
fostering an inclusive, high-performing team environment
- Contribute to the growth of our Transaction Services practice, using your commercial acumen and leadership to drive impact across the deals lifecycle
What we’re looking for
- Solid core experience in transaction services (may have prior background in external audit, corporate finance or valuations)
- Solid experience working with market leading private equity, corporate and infrastructure clients
- Proficiency in AI, digital tools and emerging technologies for financial analysis
- Robust analytical capability, with the ability to clearly communicate complex insights in a concise manner to a range of stakeholders
- A collaborative team player with a positive, “can do” mindset and the ability to perform under challenges across multiple engagements
- Sound commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret market trends and provide strategic, value-adding insights
- A strong commitment to integrity and care for colleagues and clients
- Proven ability to build and maintain lasting internal and client relationships
- Relevant professional qualifications and/or degree (e.g. CA/CPA, CFA, FINSIA, MBA, Master of Finance or similar)
