Lead the finance team that helps ING shape better decisions on cost, capacity, investment, productivity and strategic execution. This is a senior finance leadership role for someone who wants more than a traditional business partnering position. You’ll manage the Finance Business Advice team for Corporate Functions, partnering directly with senior business leaders across Technology, Operations, Staff Functions and Transformation Office to turn financial insight into clearer decisions, stronger accountability and more sustainable outcomes. The role sits at the centre of how ING connects performance, investment choices and business priorities. It is a role for someone who can simplify complexity, influence senior stakeholders and lift the standard of finance advice beyond reporting numbers. This role is for someone who can support executive decision‑making, challenge assumptions, and help shape how Finance partners with Corporate Functions through stronger insight, practical recommendations and clear leadership.
What you’ll do
Manage and coach the Corporate Functions Finance Business Advice team, setting priorities, standards and clear ownership across portfolios. Partner directly with senior leaders across Technology, Operations, Staff Functions and Transformation Office, helping shape major cost, workforce, investment and productivity decisions. Influence senior decision‑making by turning financial insight into clear choices, trade‑offs and recommendations. Turn complex cost drivers, workforce movements, business cases, allocations and initiatives into explicit financial implications, trade‑offs and recommendations. Own the Corporate Functions performance and expense story across recurring finance cycles, making sure risks, opportunities and actions are clear. Support investment choices and benefits realisation so spend remains connected to outcomes and business value.
Improve transparency of support function costs and allocations so stakeholders understand what is driving performance. Shape how Finance partners with Corporate Functions by setting the standard for business insight.
