Job Overview

Customer-focused Spare Parts Officer based in Murarrie, QLD. Reporting directly to the Spare Parts Manager/Supervisor, you will process customer orders, manage inventory, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of parts.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and interpret customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, and electronic channels.
- Ensure product specifications are accurate prior to fulfillment.
- Accurately enter sales orders into SAP (part numbers, account details, quantities, delivery addresses).
- Prepare documentation for warehouse picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Provide excellent counter service for direct customer purchases and process EFTPOS transactions.
- Handle customer return requests, issue Return Authority paperwork, and process returns and credits in SAP within business guidelines.
- Assist warehouse personnel with checking picks prior to final dispatch and participate in half-yearly stocktakes.
- Maintain clean workspaces and assist with general filing and site upkeep.

Qualifications & Competencies

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or parts counter role.
- Basic product knowledge and parts interpretation skills.




- Experience with SAP (or basic SAP exposure) is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling EFTPOS transactions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Dedicated to identifying customer needs, providing quick responses, and building long-term partnerships.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, follow established procedures, and check work for complete accuracy.
