Regional Development Australia Murraylands & Riverland (RDAMR) is seeking an exceptional leader to become our next Chief Executive | Director of Regional Development .

This is a unique executive opportunity to work with government, industry, local government and community leaders to influence the future prosperity of the Murraylands and Riverland.

As the strategic leader of RDAMR, you will provide executive leadership to the organisation while championing sustainable regional development through economic growth, investment attraction, collaboration, advocacy and initiatives that strengthen the region's prosperity, liveability and resilience.

This role offers the opportunity to genuinely make a difference, helping shape regional policy, enabling major investment, supporting industry growth, strengthening communities, enhancing regional resilience and delivering outcomes that benefit future generations.

About the Role

- Reporting directly to the RDAMR Board, you will provide strategic leadership and organisational governance.
- Build trusted relationships with government, industry and community stakeholders.
- Influence regional policy and advocate for strategic investment.
- Lead a small, high-performing team.
- Identify opportunities that strengthen the region's economy, liveability and long-term sustainability.
- Drive delivery of the RDAMR Strategic Plan and Annual Business Plan.
- Represent RDAMR at regional,



state and national forums.

About You

- You are an experienced executive leader who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial judgement and exceptional relationship-building skills.
- You bring experience leading organisations or major business units in complex environments and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

You will demonstrate:

- Executive leadership experience
- Strong governance and financial management capability
- Strategic thinking and sound judgement
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with government, industry and diverse communities
- A passion for regional Australia and sustainable regional development.
