About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our fast-paced and supportive HR team. In this varied role, you will support the day to day operations of the HR function whilst working closely with an experienced and dedicated HR Manager. This is a fantastic prospect for someone with a solid recruitment and administration background who is looking to develop their HR career. You will gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities,
support HR projects and have the prospect to build your skills and knowledge through coaching and mentoring from an experienced HR professional.
Our ideal candidate will be a proactive, capable and experienced administrator with a high degree of integrity and professionalism. You will be detail oriented, diligent and committed to accuracy, compliance and delivering high quality work. You will bring a positive, can do attitude, strong work ethic and genuine willingness to learn and develop. You will be resilient, able to work effectively under pressure and confidently adapt to changing priorities As a collaborative team player, you will have strong problem solving, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to take direction and embrace new tasks and challenges. Most importantly, you will be eager to contribute, learn and grow your career within a supportive HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day administrative and operational support to the HR Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee data in Employment Hero.
- Support with employee onboarding processes and documentation.
- Assist with and contribute to a range of HR projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage the end to end recruitment process.
- Coordinate and manage onboarding, induction and training processes.
- Manage pre-employment medicals, police checks and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adequate stock of office supplies and workplace amenities.
- Manage the staff corporate uniform account.
- Coordinate staff recognition initiatives and workplace events.
- Manage the HR ticketing system ensuring enquiries and tasks are actioned.
About You:
- Experience in HR Administration or a simiar role.
- Sound administrative skills with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A high degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Thorough attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks.
- High degree of adaptability and flexibility.
- Competency using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and learning new programs.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Experience using Employment Hero (highly desired) , or a similar platform.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (desirable).
