We are seeking an experienced Specialist Engineer - Data to join a major enterprise organisation delivering modern data and technology capabilities across a complex operational environment.
About the role:
As the Specialist Engineer - Data, you will provide technical leadership across enterprise data platforms, cloud services, integrations and engineering standards. You'll work with architects, engineers, project teams and business stakeholders to design contemporary data solutions, drive best practices and help shape the organisation's future data landscape.
Skills & Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience across modern Microsoft and cloud data technologies, including:
- Microsoft Azure Data Platform
- Azure Data Factory
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake
- Databricks
- SQL and advanced data engineering practices
- Enterprise Integration and API-based solutions
- Data Architecture and Systems Design
- Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks
- Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineering
- Automation and DevOps principles for data platforms
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data solutions within government, utilities, energy, infrastructure or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
