Job Description

Goodwin Aged Care is looking for a reliable and caring Cleaner to join our team. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, while supporting laundry services when required.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Providing high-quality cleaning services across resident rooms, public areas and other designated spaces.
- Completing scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
- Supporting laundry activities, including sorting, washing, drying,



folding and distributing linen and clothing as required.
- Following infection prevention and control, WHS and organisational procedures.
- Reporting incidents and maintenance issues promptly.
- Treating residents, families and colleagues with dignity, respect and professionalism.
- Working independently while contributing positively to the wider team.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

- Experience in cleaning, preferably in aged care, healthcare, hotels or similar environments.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe cleaning practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- A positive, respectful and flexible approach to working with older people.

Experience operating cleaning equipment such as polishers, scrubbers, carpet shampooers or pressure cleaners is desirable.

Qualification (Not Mandatory)

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
