An exciting role with a multinational FMCG organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A;) position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially, this role will commence as a long-term 12 month assignment, however there is significant scope for extension and/or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Group FP&A; Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of reporting Packs (month-end, forecast S&OP; cycles, budget, etc.)
- Understanding of key cost drivers, revenue drivers and variances versus plan/forecast
- End-to-End process management of budgeting and forecasting compilation; communicating with relevant stakeholders as required
- Coordination of monthly direct marketing expenditure and indirects forecasts
- Consolidation of various categories and updating of reporting systems and reports
- Finance business partner with stakeholders to develop and design business requirements regarding data and information management
- Partner with cross-functional teams in developing progressive data modelling & visualisation platforms to enable discovery and interpretation of data insights to unlock business growth opportunities
- Documentation and improvement of reporting/dashboard processes
- Ad-hoc work as required
The successful applicant will have
Ideally,
you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will be have a worked in a large & complex organisation previously, have used SAP previously and be able to logically approach your work in a systematic manner, always focusing on process improvement and enhancement.
