HAYS | IT Support Officer - On-site Support | Mine site

Your new company

We are seeking an experienced Service Desk/IT Support Officer to provide on-site IT support at the mine site. This is an initial three‑month engagement with strong potential to extend.

Your new role

You'll be supporting a large, complex environment and delivering high‑quality face‑to‑face technical assistance to end users.

Key Requirements

- On-site IT Support - Deliver face‑to‑face Level 1 and Level 2 support to end users across the mine site, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Technical Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve issues across end‑user devices, Microsoft technologies, business applications and peripheral equipment, with some Level 3 capability where required.
- Customer Service Delivery - Build strong relationships with mine site personnel, providing transparent communication, proactive support and a high‑quality customer experience.
- Independent Work Management - Operate autonomously on-site, managing workload, prioritising tasks and maintaining productivity with minimal supervision.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Liaise confidently with end users, supervisors and operational teams to understand issues,



gather information and ensure effective support outcomes.
- Compliance & Safety - Adhere to all mine site entry, safety and compliance standards, including alcohol and drug testing, and maintain safe work practices at all times.
- Device & Application Support - Support a broad range of hardware, software, mobile devices and business applications used across the site.

What you'll need to succeed

- Strong level 2 capability, with some Level 3 technical depth
- Experience across Microsoft technologies, end-user devices and business applications
- Prior experience working in mining would be beneficial
- Demonstrated prior experience working as a Service Desk Team Leader or a Senior IT Support Analyst
- Based in or open to working in the South West of Western Australia region.
