Experienced FOH professional wanted for our independent Brunswick bistro. Join a small team focused on seasonal food, Australian wine and warm, genuine hospitality.

The Foragers Fork is a very small independent bar and bistro on Sydney Road, Brunswick, serving seasonal Australian produce with a solid European influence, alongside an entirely Australian wine list and back bar.

We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team.

As a small venue, this is a true FOH all-rounder role. Depending on the service, you'll be looking after tables, making cocktails, pouring and talking about wine, working behind the bar, or simply making sure our guests are having a great time.

We're not looking for one particular hospitality background. You might be an experienced waiter, bartender, wine person, or someone who has worked across all of the above. What matters is that you already have solid hospitality experience, are confident with guests and are happy getting involved wherever you're needed.

Food and wine knowledge is a big advantage, as is cocktail and bar experience, but we don't expect you to know everything. An interest in learning and developing your knowledge is just as important.

you'll come with the right attitude. We're building our bistro around friendly, genuine hospitality, professional and attentive without being formal or scripted.

We're owner-operated, so there's no unnecessary hierarchy. Everyone gets involved, helps each other out and takes responsibility for giving our guests a great experience.

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience in a quality restaurant, wine bar or cocktail bar
* Comfortable and confident dealing with guests
* Experience in table service, wine or bartending
* A genuine interest in food, wine and drinks
* Happy to work across different areas of FOH
* Reliable, organised and comfortable working in a small team
* Current Victorian RSA
* Availability across evenings and weekends

We currently trade Wednesday-Saturday evenings and Sunday from lunch, so there are no late night finishes.

Casual position, approximately 2-4 shifts per week, with the potential for more responsibility and hours for the right person.
