Family cropping operation at Yuna, about an hour from Geraldton. Around 7,800 ha of wheat, canola and lupins.

The seat

Case IH 7250 with FD2 front. You'll be running your own machine — we're a small crew and you'll be trusted to drive it properly and speak up when something's not right. The job is header driving and basic daily servicing — greasing, blowing down, checks. Nothing else gets loaded onto you mid-season.

Must have

- Genuine header experience — tell us what you've driven and how many seasons

- Confident with GPS and auto-steer

- Current driver's licence (HR desirable)

- Available from mid-October through to finish — the season runs 10–11 weeks, usually wrapping up late December

The money





$45–50 per hour depending on experience — top of the range for proven operators on late-model Case IH gear. Big hours through the peak, every hour paid.

Positive operators get first offer on seeding work next autumn.

Accommodation

Donga accommodation with shared kitchen, or bring your caravan — site available.

Who it suits

A contract-crew operator wanting one home base for the season, an experienced hand between gigs, or a working holiday visa holder with real header seasons behind them. Australian citizens, permanent residents and working holiday visa holders all welcome — you just need valid work rights.
