About the organisation

.au Domain Administration Limited (auDA) is Australia's country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) administrator and self-regulatory policy body, overseeing the operation and management framework of the .au domain of the internet. auDA is a community-based not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee, endorsed by the Australian Government and holding an agreement with the global Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers to manage the .au ccTLD. This organisation's role is to provide a secure, secure and operational namespace for more than 20 million Australian internet users. Under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth), auDA has been declared as the entity critical to the administration of the Australian Domain Name System.

About the role

The Senior Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) is a newly created position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of the executive team. The role is accountable for auDA's enterprise-wide planning and project delivery functions, transforming organisational strategy into well-defined priorities, concrete plans, and measurable outcomes that are appropriately resourced and successfully executed. This encompasses strategic and operational planning, portfolio governance, performance reporting, information management and end-to-end enterprise project delivery. The position shares accountability for organisational vision and strategy, resource allocation, stewardship, talent development, culture and external stakeholder communication, with direct reporting to the CEO, Board and Board Committees. Operating as a cross-functional enabler,



the Senior Director partners closely with operations, innovation and transformation, corporate services, and external relations teams to align strategy, capability, capacity, investment decisions and priorities. Critical to success will be the ability to build relationships, break down silos, and enable cohesive, coordinated execution at pace.

About you

You are a senior executive with significant experience leading enterprise PMO, strategy, organisational performance or transformation functions. You are equally adept at advising boards and executive teams on planning cycles, performance and delivery as you are at translating strategic ambition into actionable plans with clear accountability and measurable outcomes. You bring genuine executive presence, commanding credibility with senior leaders and external stakeholders, while comfortably building PMO maturity and capability within a smaller, agile organisation. What sets you apart is your capacity to operate as a true cross-functional collaborator, establishing trust readily, influencing without authority and uniting diverse stakeholders around shared priorities. Your communication is data-driven and precise, equipping decision-makers with the clarity needed for sound governance. Experience in technology, digital infrastructure, or critical infrastructure environments will be well regarded, as will a demonstrated track record of creating or maturing enterprise PMO functions and translating fit-for-purpose governance disciplines to this vital Australian asset.
