Auto Electricians - Mobile Mining Equipment

Weekly Pay – FIFO from Perth only

$85.00 - 95.00 per hour flat rate, 12hr days with paid breaks

Location: Pilbara, WA - Roster 2:1

Casual & ongoing work guaranteed until at least March 2027

Our client is a well established company who is Western Australian owned and operated, a leading provider of heavy diesel mechanical services to the mining industry.

As an Auto Electrician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems across a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment. Duties will vary from servicing and wiring repairs to preventative maintenance and breakdown support on 60-100 tonne mobile mining equipment.

The Role:

- Rotation: 2 weeks days ($85.00), R&R;, then 2 weeks nights ($95.00)
- Conduct scheduled and breakdown maintenance on heavy mobile equipment




- Rio Inductions is highly desirable
- Company field service ute supplied

The Requirements:

- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience in heavy mobile mining equipment servicing, repairs and maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Commitment to protected work practices
- Clean shaven (must be able to pass mask fit testing)
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Must be fully qualified and based locally with full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence
