Are you an experienced public practice accountant ready to take the next step into a leadership role?

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established accounting firm where you'll manage your own client portfolio, mentor junior team members and play a key role in delivering high-quality taxation and business advisory services.

The Opportunity

Working closely with experienced Partners and senior leaders, you'll become a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of business clients while supporting the ongoing development of the team. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant, Assistant Manager or Client Manager looking to build long-term client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of a successful practice.

Your Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of business clients and maintain strong long-term relationships
- Lead client meetings and provide proactive accounting, taxation and business advisory services
- Review financial statements, income tax returns and compliance work prepared by the team
- Monitor workflow, turnaround times and work in progress across your client portfolio
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and provide practical commercial advice
- Prepare technical accounting and taxation advice for Partner review
- Mentor,



coach and support junior accountants through ongoing training and development
- Research complex taxation matters and provide practical recommendations
- Contribute to process improvements and help drive the continued success of the team

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

- 6+ years' Australian public practice accounting experience
- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience managing client relationships within Business Services & Tax
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
- Experience reviewing the work of junior accountants
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- A genuine passion for leadership, mentoring and delivering exceptional client service
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
