The Company

Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a renowned M&E; contractor that delivers Mechanical, Electrical, Data, HVAC-R and Building Services solutions to Tier 1 and 2 clients across QLD. Typical projects span the health, education, defence, aged care, energy and civil sectors , with a broader pipeline beyond these.

With an in‑house design team, this client delivers projects from concept through to commissioning, supported by an established maintenance division. Backed by multiple offices across SEQ and consistent growth, they are now seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding Brisbane team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer, this newly created role is pivotal as the business enters its next phase of growth. You’ll take ownership of mechanical design and engineering across projects while supporting other divisions within the company.

This opportunity suits a Mechanical Engineer with at least 4+ years’ experience delivering Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial, residential, or industrial projects.



You’ll be part of a team that genuinely puts its people first and has a firm “no DH” policy on the front door (ask for details).

Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- RPEQ preferred, or ability to work towards accreditation
- Proven experience delivering projects across health, education, hospitality, residential, defence, or commercial sectors
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive multitasker with sound conflict resolution skills and a focus on outcomes
- A team player who thrives in a supportive, values‑driven culture
