Reporting to the Program Manager, you will serve as the primary navigator for project teams working through the organisation’s capital governance framework. This is a central, highly visible role where you will manage the end-to-end flow of project approvals, provide critical reporting and analysis, and maintain the integrity of the gating process. You will also play a lead part in refining internal systems and tools to enhance project delivery across the entire business.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide project leads through the formal investment framework and stage-gate lifecycle.
- Oversee the full workflow of project documentation, from initial proposals to change requests and final reviews.
- Facilitate governance forums by preparing high-level presentations, managing agendas, and ensuring all outcomes are documented and actioned.
- Review and analyse project financial data to ensure all capital expenditure remains aligned with broader corporate frameworks.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing training and toolkit support to ensure new staff understand EPMO policies.
- Drive the continuous improvement of PMO processes,
ensuring systems and templates remain fit for purpose.
About You
- Background: You bring at least 3 years of experience in a PMO, project, or program coordination capacity.
- Education: Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field are highly regarded.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in the Microsoft suite are essential, particularly Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of the project delivery lifecycle and are comfortable facilitating training sessions for small groups.
- Attributes: You are an exceptionally organised individual with a proactive, "self-starter" mentality and the resilience to handle shifting priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
