Job Details

Registered Nurse/RN in Community/Home Care at Mackay Community Health Centre, Northern Queensland.

Placement Dates: 27 April 2026 – 19 July 2026.

Working Days: Monday to Friday. Rotating through morning and afternoon shifts, with potential for additional shifts as required. Maximum 80 hours per fortnight; overtime after 80 hours.

Responsibilities

- Provide care and support to consumers in mental health services.
- Perform triage and facilitate referrals to community mental health teams, alcohol and drug services, or primary health care.
- Participate in the Acute Care Team’s 24/7 public mental health services.

Qualifications

- Registered Nurse/RN with medical registration with AHPRA.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Minimum 12 months experience required.
