Membership Manager

Sydney CBD | Temporary Contract

$110-$120K FTE

We’re on the hunt for a seasoned membership professional for our client who are a membership organisation within the professional services space.

What’s the job?

You’ll report into the GM and take full charge of the Membership portfolio . This includes strategy and day-to-day delivery across services, comms, acquisition, retention, and a fair amount of database wrangling.

- Review, refresh and drive member value proposition
- Get Life Membership and Fellowship processes back on track (and ready for Board review)
- Reintroduce welcome packs and clean up automated comms
- Plan and deliver the 2025 renewals and billing campaign (with Finance + Data Analyst)
- Sort out anniversary date memberships, credit card updates, and outbound comms
- Lead a CRM/database clean-up project—de-dupe, update, fix what’s broken
- Launch and run a lapsed member campaign
- Kick off student membership engagement and prep 2026 pricing insights
- Lead the scholarship process end-to-end
- Oversee the Membership Services team
- Handle membership queries, upgrades, disputes, and everything in between
- Help prepare quarterly reports for the Membership Committee
- Keep an eye on data trends, revenue recognition,

You’ll love this role if:

- You’ve got a sixth sense for data and a good nose for member value.
- You like nice people, but don’t need handholding or constant direction.
- You know how to tailor your approach to different member types, no matter where they are in their journey.
