Red Bend Catholic College invites suitably qualified and experienced Religious Education Teachers to join our Executive team as the Director Curriculum.
Situated in the heart of the Lachlan Valley in Central West NSW, Red Bend Catholic College is a co-educational Years 7-12 Catholic Day and Boarding school in the Marist tradition. The College educates over 860 students from rural, regional and remote areas to provide an extensive Catholic education. Our core purpose is to make Jesus Christ known and loved through the rich experiences of College life, which includes a transparent focus on academic care, wellbeing, boarding, co-curricular and sporting experiences.
The primary focus of the Director Curriculum is to lead and implement the delivery of the NESA curriculum across the College, ensuring all syllabus, assessment and reporting requirements are met. This includes curriculum renewal and evaluation to meet the diverse learning needs and academic excellence for all students.
The Director of Curriculum will be an exceptional educational leader with a passion for learning, teaching and organization. The successful candidate will have experience of leadership as well as appropriate qualifications, be an excellent communicator and team player with solid interpersonal skills and a breadth of experience in computer technology usage.
As a member of the Executive Team, this position will have a strong commitment to education and will ensure quality teaching and learning is a focus for all staff and students. Central to this role is to support the Executive Team in fostering excellence in teaching and learning as commensurate to the College’s Vision for Learning - Inspiring Minds, Hearts and Spirits.
The Director Curriculum will be a Teacher.
This position will be full time permanent and the primary focus of the Teacher position is the education of the students through the creation of a positive and disciplined learning environment:
- In the classroom
- In Co-curricular activities
- In interacting informally with students
