Are you a hands-on HR generalist who enjoys building capability, improving systems and partnering with leaders through change?

An established NFP organisation in Perth CBD is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team in a standalone HR capacity.

Reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the CEO, this is an opportunity to shape and strengthen the people function.

This role would suit a commercially minded HR qualified who thrives on autonomy, enjoys solving problems and can confidently influence outcomes without direct authority.

About the Role As the organisation's dedicated HR resource, you will provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle while helping modernise systems, processes and workforce governance.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Providing trusted HR advice to leaders on employee relations, workforce matters and people initiatives
- Leading recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
- Supporting organisational change, consultation processes and workforce planning initiatives
- Reviewing and enhancing HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks
- Driving greater utilisation of Employment Hero, including automation, workflows and reporting
- Managing workforce compliance, reporting and documentation
- Supporting leadership capability, employee development and workplace culture initiatives




- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and establishing scalable HR foundations

About You To be successful, you will bring:

- Previous experience operating as a Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Manager
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace relations
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and organisational change
- The confidence to work autonomously in a standalone HR environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience improving systems, processes and workforce governance
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to hit the ground running

Experience within not-for-profit, membership-based or similarly complex organisations will be highly regarded.
