The Strategy and Business Transformation team is part of the Digital Technology Services Division. The team supports our organisation's goals by ensuring high-quality support services are delivered across headspace national.

what you'll do

The primary role of the Technical Business Analyst will be to support the delivery of technology projects that improve the systems,



tools and processes used by headspace services and service providers.

Working in this role, you will:

- Identify key stakeholders affected by proposed initiatives or business needs and conduct analysis, ensuring you build and maintain strong relationships.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, service delivery processes, system issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Determine the activities and resources required to define potential solutions.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to explore needs, requirements and to support shared decision making.
- Capture and document business and functional requirements, rules, stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Develop process maps, service workflows, and system diagrams.
- Support test planning and execution.
- Develop test plans, scenarios, cases and expected results based on requirements and designs.
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, implementation and improvement of technology solutions.
- Conduct project activities in alignment with agreed project timelines, scope and budget.
- Support technical teams and vendors by providing clear requirements, business context and timely clarification of stakeholder needs.
- Assist with evaluating solution options and documenting recommendations.

what you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Technical Business Analyst or in a comparable business analysis role.
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping and the development of business,



functional and non-functional requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs and complex technical information into clear, high-quality requirements and documentation.
- Experience eliciting and documenting requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis and other business analysis techniques.
- Experience working with technical teams to support the design, development, testing and implementation of technology solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong verbal communication and workshop facilitation skills.
