About the Role
We are expanding our Intelligence pillar and looking for experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst’s to play a key role in strengthening our operational delivery capability. To support the right candidate, flexible start dates are available from immediate commencement through to early 2027.
This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced analyst who can independently deliver high quality intelligence products, support operational tempo and contribute to building resilient, scalable intelligence capability across the organisation.
This role is located in Peppermint Grove, with convenient access to public transport via Cottesloe and Mosman Park stations, as well as free on street parking.
Key duties
- Plan and execute intelligence collection aligned with client requirements and operational priorities.
- Conduct advanced open‑source intelligence (OSINT) collection, validation and analysis.
- Produce high‑quality intelligence products including threat assessments, risk profiles, due diligence and investigative reports.
- Deliver clear, structured intelligence assessments and briefings to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Support complex investigations and time‑sensitive tasks with actionable intelligence.
- Provide surge and rapid‑response analytical support during incidents or emerging issues.
Essential requirements
- 5–10 years’ experience in intelligence analysis, investigations or security risk, gained in government, military, law enforcement or private‑sector environments.
- Proven ability to take an intelligence task from scoping through to delivery with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical writing capability, with experience producing clear, structured intelligence assessments.
- Demonstrated OSINT experience, including source discovery, validation, cross‑referencing and judgement on credibility.
- Trusted to work with sensitive and confidential information and exercise sound judgement in its handling.
- Comfortable working under pressure and delivering assessments where time, information or certainty is limited.
- Able to sift large volumes of information, identify what is relevant, and explain why it matters.
- Confident briefing findings and analytical judgements to internal stakeholders and clients.
Desirable requirements
- Experience using intelligence or OSINT platforms, including link analysis, data visualisation, mapping or monitoring tools, to support complex analytical tasks.
- Practical experience applying structured analytical techniques to support judgement, challenge assumptions and assess risk, not just familiarity with the methodology.
- Working knowledge of geopolitical, security, criminal or reputational threat factors relevant to intelligence or investigative work.
- Experience contributing to travel risk, protective intelligence, executive risk or critical infrastructure‑related assessments.
- A consistent track record of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control across complex analytical products.
- Familiarity with the legal, ethical and governance expectations associated with intelligence and investigative activity in a professional environment.
