Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Workforce Coordinator to join our growing team in Karratha.

This exciting leadership chance will see you play a key role in coordinating workforce development initiatives, community projects, stakeholder engagement, and employment services that create meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities in the Karratha region. The position provides leadership to staff while ensuring programs are delivered in line with organisational priorities, funding requirements, community expectations, and cultural values.

About the Role

Reporting to the Employment Services Manager, you will lead and coordinate workforce development services, community projects, and stakeholder partnerships while supporting a high-performing and culturally safe team environment. You'll work closely with community members, employers and internal teams to deliver programs that support employment pathways, workforce capability, and community led outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop team members to achieve program objectives.

- Coordinate workforce development initiatives and employment pathways.

- Manage and oversee community projects from planning through to delivery.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.

- Monitor service delivery performance and contractual requirements.

- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and funding guidelines.

- Drive continuous improvement, compliance, and quality outcomes.

- Promote strong workplace health and safety practices across all activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

- Experience within employment services,



workforce development, community services, project coordination, or a related field.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent organisational, reporting, and administrative abilities.

- Financial and project management experience.

- A commitment to culturally safe and community-informed service delivery.

- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within Western Australia as required.
