Senior Project Engineer (CSA ECI)

Location: Perth CBD
Employment Type: 6 months casual contract with likelihood of extension

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – CSA ECI to lead the Civil, Structural, Architectural, Enabling Works and Balance‑of‑Plant (BOP) Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) workstream on a major infrastructure development. This role will take ownership of the complete ECI lifecycle, ensuring contractor inputs across civil works, buildings, logistics and enabling infrastructure are effectively integrated into FEED, procurement packages and the downstream D&C; delivery model.

Working closely with Engineering, Area Managers, Construction, Approvals, Procurement and Commercial teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring constructability, modularisation, execution methodology and pricing insights are captured early and transitioned seamlessly into detailed engineering and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of the CSA/BOP ECI workstream, including scope development, programme planning and governance.

- Develop and manage the ECI scope, deliverables, programme and governance, ensuring alignment with FEED and project boundaries.

- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, buildings, camps, warehousing, logistics and balance‑of‑plant inputs, ensuring multidisciplinary integration.

- Manage constructability, modularisation, construction methodology, schedule and pricing outputs, validating contractor insights and ensuring they are actionable.

- Align ECI design development with the FEED reference design and D&C; package boundaries, ensuring clarity of scope and seamless transition into detailed engineering.

- Coordinate interfaces with Approvals, site operations and permanent works, ensuring regulatory,



operational and design requirements are fully incorporated.

- Collaborate across key interfaces, including Lead Project Engineer, Area Managers (Architecture & Fit‑Out and Enabling Works), Engineering, Construction, Approvals, Contracts & Procurement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Extensive experience delivering civil, structural, architectural or balance‑of‑plant scopes within major infrastructure or industrial environments.

- Proven capability managing high‑value CSA/BOP ECI contractor workstreams independently.

- Strong understanding of constructability, modularisation, construction methodology and early‑phase pricing.

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical inputs and manage interfaces across engineering, construction, approvals and procurement teams.

- Experience transitioning ECI outputs into FEED, procurement packages and D&C; delivery models.

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across technical and non‑technical teams.

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.
