Eversafe Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S;) skilled to join our growing fire protection business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that safety in the fire industry goes beyond paperwork. You will work closely with our technicians, managers and office team to ensure our WH&S; systems, procedures and practices are maintained to a high standard across our operations.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing and continually improving WH&S; across our fire protection operations, including:

- Maintaining and improving WH&S; policies, procedures and systems

- Supporting technicians with SWMS, JSA's, risk assessments and safety documentation

- Monitoring compliance with WH&S; legislation, regulations and industry requirements

- Investigating incidents, near misses and hazards and implementing corrective actions

- Conducting toolbox talks and safety training

- Maintaining WH&S; registers, records and reporting

- Supporting workers with safety queries and practical guidance

- Working with management to identify and reduce workplace risks

- Ensuring subcontractors and workers meet required safety standards

- Staying up to date with changes to WH&S; legislation and fire industry requirements

What We're Looking For

Fire industry experience is essential.





We are looking for someone who has a genuine understanding of the working environment faced by fire technicians and contractors, including site-based work, construction environments, access equipment, electrical hazards, hot works, confined spaces and working at heights.

You will also have:

- Proven WH&S; experience in the fire protection, fire services or construction industry

- Strong knowledge of Australian WH&S; legislation

- Experience developing and implementing safety systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A practical, hands-on approach to workplace safety

- Strong organisational and documentation skills

- The confidence to work directly with technicians and management

- The ability to identify risks and implement practical solutions

- Relevant WH&S; qualifications are a pre requisite
