About the role:
An prospect exists for a Project Technician to join a leading Security Integrator following a new project win in Bunbury. This is a construction-focused role covering cable installation and conduit works, so you'll need to be comfortable working to schedules and construction plans on site.
You'll be joining a business with over 50 years' experience delivering commercial security systems across WA, working across CCTV, access control, workforce access management, intruder detection, perimeter solutions, gates, nurse call, and duress systems.
- Permanent full-time position based in or around Bunbury, WA
- Open to working across WA during the project and beyond
- $115k + super + $12k car allowance
- 1.5x overtime rate on all hours over 40/week
- $7/hr site allowance and + $9/hr mining allowance
- Additional LAFHA on offer
What you'll need to be successful in the role:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Demonstrated experience with cable installation
- Demonstrated experience with conduit works
- Ability to follow schedules and construction plans
- Significant project experience in the security, communications, or electrical installation sector
- Experience installing and maintaining electronic security equipment and systems, including:
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Intruder Detection
- Intercom
- Understanding of systems inspection, examination, tuning and testing of security equipment, and the ability to diagnose faults
- Valid Driver's Licence
- WA Security Licence (Installer / Consultant)
- Open Registration Cabling Licence
- EWP Licences (High Risk – WP) / Working at Heights – preferred but not required for commencement
