About the role

Teschner Pty Limited is seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team in Campbell, ACT. This can be a full-time and part time position offering the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a professional hospitality environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality across our establishment. This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available to suit the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes, standards and presentation requirements

- Maintaining impeccable food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage and preparation of ingredients

- Managing kitchen operations and ensuring efficient workflow during service periods

- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback on techniques and standards

What we're looking for

- Relevant culinary qualifications or formal training from a recognised hospitality institution

- Proven experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen environment, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience

- breakfast cook or a la carte chefs

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices and allergen management

- Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure

- Leadership capabilities and experience in training or mentoring kitchen staff





- Creativity and passion for developing innovative menu items

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent quality standards
