Talent Run recruitment is working with an indie creative and media agency. We are recruiting a Finance Manager to help control all financial management systems, processes and disciplines within the Agency. They are a key partner to the CFO, Managing Director and all Account/ Media/ Creative Teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with resource management across divisions

• In conjunction with the CFO, regulate, supervise and implement a timely, full and

accurate set of accounting books of the Agency reflecting all its activities in a manner

commensurate with the relevant state and federal legislation and subject to internal

guidelines set from time to time by the Board of Directors

• Timely collection of Accounts Receivables

• Maintain Aged Payables and suppliers

• Reconciliations and maintenance of all Media within the agency and liaise with the

Media department in this regard

• Monitor all staff leave

• Liaise with AS/Media/Finance/Production for processing of mid-month & EOM

invoicing (work with CFO on timetable and review of all jobs/send invoices to clients)

• Reconcile Company credit cards

• To regularly and duly prepare and present to the CFO financial reports as required by all

pertinent state and federal laws and regulations and as deemed necessary by the CFO





• To alert the CFO with regard to any irregularity, lack of compliance, lack of adherence

and problems whether actual or potential concerning the financial systems, the financial

operations, the financing plans, the accounting or reviews, and any other matter of a

financial nature or which could or does have a financial implication

• To liaise with and coordinate the activities of outside suppliers of financial services hired

or contracted by the agency, the banking system and other financial venues

• To maintain full responsibility for implementation and ongoing maintenance of the

computerised accounting system – instinct systems Job Bag

• To process financial data directly as required of financial data within the finance

department and to ensure full reconciliation of all accounts in conjunction with the CFO

• Prepare and Pay payroll

• Maintain historical records

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Robust operational financial management

· Extensive services industry financial systems & processes

· Strong attention to detail

· Great communicator with a can do attitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

3-5+ years in Agency/ Production/ Media finance roles
