With over five years of experience across NDIS, Medicare, and private therapy, we’ve built a small, bespoke team of Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners. We work together to deliver thoughtful and considered support tailored to each client.
We foster a collaborative, practical, and flexible environment, ensuring our team is supported with structured and realistic caseload expectations that prioritise both client outcomes and practitioner well-being.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting clients: Conduct functional behavioural assessments, develop Behaviour Support Plans and provide implementation in line with NDIS Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) standards.
- Work as a team: Collaborate with clients, their families, and support networks to create effective strategies.
- Stay compliant & ethical: Apply best practices under the ACT Senior Practitioner Act 2018 to ensure interventions uphold client dignity and rights.
- Keep learning & growing: Review and adjust Behaviour Support Plans as clients’ needs evolve, supported by a team of Psychologists and BSPs.
Who we're looking for
- Determined suitable as a Behaviour Support Practitioner through the NDIS registration process (some experience preferred but not essential). Good Collective AU will support your application.
- Qualifications in Psychology, Community Services, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Teaching, Social Work, Allied Health, or a related field
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and restrictive practices
- Working with Vulnerable People registration
- NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)
- Driver’s licence and car
- Full working rights in Australia
Or if you're a Provisional/Registered Psychologist we can offer you a market related salary with a mixed case load of Behaviour Support and Psychological Assessment and Intervention. You'll need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
- Provisional registration with AHPRA (5+1 pathway) or General Registration
- Interest in evidence-based therapy (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.) and assessments
- Willingness to work under the in-house Board Approved Supervisor with structured support
