An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established and growing professional services business in Perth. This is a newly created position due to continued business growth and the expansion of the internal finance team.

You'll be joining a collaborative organization of approximately 40+ staff, working closely with the Accounts team, Payroll, and senior leadership to ensure the smooth running of the accounts receivable function.

The Role

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end Accounts Receivable processing

- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

- Following up outstanding invoices via phone and email

- Assisting with payment plan arrangements where required

- Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero

- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and reporting tasks

About You





We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

Ideally, you will have:

- 3 - 10 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable position

- Previous experience using Xero

- A background in accounting or finance (experience from other industries will also be considered)

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- The ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

- A proactive, team-focused attitude
