Experienced Electrician / Senior Electrical Technician

Sydney | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Annual Bonus + Overtime

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated electrician to join our growing Sydney-based team.

This role is ideal for a tradesperson who wants more than repetitive electrical work. You’ll be exposed to a diverse range of projects across electrical, security, control systems and automated door systems, with the opportunity to take ownership of jobs, solve technical problems and continue developing your skills.

We’re particularly interested in electricians who are confident working independently, enjoy fault finding and troubleshooting, and take genuine pride in delivering a high standard of work.

An experienced 4th-year apprentice with strong technical ability will also be considered.

The Role

You’ll work across residential, commercial and industrial environments throughout Sydney, with responsibilities including:

- Managing electrical projects and service work from start to completion

- Electrical installation, maintenance, servicing and repairs

- Advanced fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting

- Working with control circuits, electrical schematics and associated equipment

- Installation, servicing and fault finding of security systems

- Installation and maintenance of automatic and industrial automated door systems

- Communicating directly with customers and providing practical solutions on site

- Taking ownership of jobs and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

- Supporting and providing guidance to junior team members where required

- Attending occasional call-outs and working overtime when operationally required

What We’re Looking For

You’ll suit this position if you’re an electrician who is technically capable, reliable and looking to take the next step in your career.

Ideally, you will have:





- NSW electrical licence, or be an experienced 4th-year apprentice

- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Experience reading electrical drawings and working with control circuits

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think practically on site

- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

- The confidence to work independently and manage your own jobs

- Good communication and customer service skills

- A process-driven and organised approach to your work

- A willingness to learn recent systems and technologies

- Strong mechanical aptitude — highly regarded

- Flexibility to work overtime and attend call-outs when required

Experience with security, automation, access control, automatic doors or industrial control systems will be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right electrician with strong technical and fault-finding skills.
