About Us:

We are an established Australian importer and supplier of water filtration, bathroomware, hardware and home improvement products, supplying major retailers and trade customers across Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Product Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Dandenong South.

Reporting to the Sourcing and Business Manager, you will be involved in the end-to-end sourcing and development of new products, working closely with our Australian team and established supplier network globally.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, communicating with suppliers, negotiating commercial outcomes and helping take a product from an initial idea through development, production and ultimately to market.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

•Working with our Sales and Management teams to develop and bring new product opportunities to market.

•Identifying, evaluating and communicating with existing and potential global suppliers.

•Obtaining and comparing quotations, samples, specifications and commercial terms.

•Negotiating supplier pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times and other commercial requirements.

•Coordinating new product development from initial concept and sampling through to final production.

•Maintaining clear communication with suppliers throughout the development and manufacturing process.

•Monitoring project timelines and following up suppliers to ensure agreed milestones are achieved.

•Assisting with product specifications, packaging requirements and relevant product documentation.





•Coordinating with our Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet required quality and compliance standards.

•Supporting import, shipping and logistics coordination for incoming products.

•Working closely with Sales, QA, Marketing and Warehouse teams to ensure successful product launches.

•Maintaining accurate product, supplier, costing and project records.

•Managing assigned sourcing and product development projects through to completion.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will be organised, commercially aware and comfortable communicating across different teams, suppliers and cultures.

Essential:

•Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin.

•Robust communication and negotiation skills.

•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

•Strong numerical skills and confidence working with product costings.

•Positive organisational and time-management skills.

•Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

•A proactive approach and willingness to follow projects through to completion.

•Confidence communicating directly with overseas suppliers.

Highly regarded:

•Previous experience in product sourcing, procurement, importing or product development.

•Experience dealing directly with manufacturers or suppliers in China and other global networks.

•Understanding of international trade,



freight and import processes.

•Experience within hardware, home improvement, plumbing, bathroomware, water filtration or related consumer products.

•Experience working with major Australian retailers or wholesale customers.
