Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a leading organisation based in Wollongong. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, collaborative finance team in a permanent, full time role.
About the Role As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will:
- Process domestic and foreign currency invoices in line with company policies.
- Allocate invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and update vendor information in the ERP system.
- Match purchase orders and invoices, investigating discrepancies.
- Prepare month-end accruals and reconcile creditor statements.
- Handle employee expense claims and support internal/external audits.
- Provide Treasury Back Office support, including FX deal checks and settlement payments.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and high-volume processing.
- Strong numeracy and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
- High School Certificate or equivalent; TAFE or similar accounting qualification preferred.
