⚙️ The Work

- Installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and vehicles, equipment, and associated control devices
- Differentiate between unserviceable parts and components that are able to be reused without likelihood of premature failure
- Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated, and maintained
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure that the work done meets manufacturer's specifications
- Service and repair engines, transmission, hydraulic systems, and the electrical and electronic systems in heavy equipment
- Use computers to seek service and parts information and download information from on-board computers in heavy machinery
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, such as excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks,



scrapers, motor graders, pipe layers, road rollers, paving products, underground machines, skid steer loaders, backhoes, compactors, forklifts, and on-highway trucks
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines used in power generation and light vehicles.
- Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using gauges, intstruments, and laptop computers that check machine electrical and electronic cuircuitry, fuel injection systems, hydraulic systems, engine speed control, engine condition, and peformance.

- Rio Tinto Inducted - Highly Desirable
- Aus/NZ Recognized Trade Certificate required
- Outstanding troubleshooting/diagnostic skills
- 2+ years shutdown and/or field service experience
- Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr & CAT OEM experience
- Forklift ticket - Essential or willing to obtain
- Dogging - Essential or willing to obtain
- Valid C Class Driver's Licence - Essential
- OEM experience (preferred, not essential)
- Reliable, secure, and can work hard without being hand-held
