Base pay range
A$160,000.00 / yr - A$240,000.00 / yr
Overview
My client, a household name in financial services, is looking for a high-performing Finance Business Analyst to help drive key transformation initiatives. You will have a strong finance background and have transitioned into the project domain with excellent BA experience.
Responsibilities
- Define business (Finance) requirements to support various transformation initiatives
- Help define various solution milestones with a variety of stakeholders
- Detailed gap analysis across the scope of the projects including “as is” “to be” process mapping
- Detailed analysis of root cause issues causing business complexities and solutions
- Production of detailed Finance Requirement Documentation, along with other documentation to allow successful transformation
- Solution testing and training of finance SMEs transitioning transformation outcomes to BAU process
- Various aspects of analysis and reporting aligned to project deliverables
Qualifications
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
- Strong finance background before transitioning to a BA position in project delivery
- Solid working background in financial services
- Proven experience as a finance business analyst delivering requirements gathering and documenting requirements
- Working within an Agile delivery environment is highly regarded
- Exposure to technology projects or regulatory projects will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
