About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating department and play a critical role in securing projects ranging from $1m to $30m. You’ll bring proven experience in commercial construction estimating, strong industry networks, and the confidence to manage the entire tendering process from start to finish. This role offers genuine autonomy,



with the freedom to implement your preferred processes while having the full support of senior management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the full tender process across projects from $1m to $30m
- Prepare accurate cost plans, budgets, and competitive tender submissions
- Build and maintain solid relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Conduct detailed trade breakups, scope reviews, and risk assessments
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project handover and cost control
- Identify and implement cost efficiencies without compromising compliance or quality
- Drive continuous improvement in the estimating function, including systems and processes

About You

You’re a confident and experienced estimator who thrives in taking ownership of results. You’ll bring:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a construction estimator (commercial, industrial, or multi-residential)
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and processes
- Strong supplier and subcontractor networks in SEQ
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, implementing best practice processes
- A commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction
