As the organisation continues to expand, they are now seeking a confident and relationship focused Client Engagement Lead to strengthen referral pathways, drive participant growth and represent the service within the NDIS community. The role is based in Cannington, with occasional travel required.
About the Role and your Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will lead growth and growth strategy, driving service expansion while strengthening referral pathways, increasing participant numbers, maintaining occupancy and delivering sustainable revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will leverage your existing network and play a key role in participant onboarding and retention.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement growth strategy across SIL, SDA, MTA, ILO, community support and complex care, driving sustainable service expansion.
- Build and nurture strong skilled relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, allied health professionals, hospitals, guardians and families.
- Identify new market opportunities, including ILO host arrangements and alternative living models.
- Maintain strong occupancy rates while meeting or exceeding intake, occupancy and revenue targets.
- Oversee intake process from initial enquiry through to onboarding, ensuring a seamless participant experience.
- Match participants to suitable housing and support models, including SIL homes, SDA vacancies and ILO arrangements.
- Track referral sources and performance metrics, provide regular growth reports to senior leadership, and represent the organisation at expos, conferences and networking events.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years experience in Service Coordination or Business Development experience within the NDIS or Aged Care sector in Australia
- Proven experience in Intake and Growth within Disability, Health or Community services
- Solid understanding of the NDIS framework including SIL, SDA, MTA and ILO funding models
- Knowledge of NDIS pricing, service pathways,
participant needs and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to achieve client growth and revenue targets and scale a segment of a business in line with a strategic plan
- Established NDIS sector networks with existing referral relationships and the ability to build strong referral pathways
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution capability and sound business acumen
- Exceptional networking, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Highly organised, self motivated and target driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Current Driver’s Licence, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening
- Full working rights to work in Australia
