- Supportive family environment focused on genetics & productivity
The Role
We are pleased to represent a dynamic, family-owned, and operated beef cattle enterprise located in the North West Slopes region, currently seeking a dedicated and autonomous Senior Livestock Farm Hand to oversee the property's daily operations. This pivotal position offers the opportunity to act as the operational heartbeat of the 4,655ha property across a diverse agricultural landscape. You will play a central role in our comprehensive operations, which include breeding high-quality commercial bulls, managing intensive pasture renovation, and implementing a sophisticated rotational grazing system.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from drafting, tagging, vaccinating, and weaning to maintaining the high standards required for our EU and JBS Farm Assurance accreditation. The role requires a seasoned professional who can coordinate daily work plans with limited supervision, handling NVDs and PIC transfers with ease, and exercising the mechanical aptitude needed to troubleshoot equipment and execute minor earthworks. Whether you are independently managing daily stock movements, instructing contractors and casual staff, or proactively identifying maintenance needs across the property, this position offers a stable, long-term career path for someone who values autonomy, precision, and the continued success of a well-regarded regional beef operation.

This is an establishment where tradition meets innovation, providing a stable, long-term career path for a candidate who is eager to contribute to the continued success and growth of a well-regarded regional business.
The Offer
This position comes with an attractive remuneration package commensurate with your skills and experience,
complemented by the provision of a comfortable, renovated 3-bedroom home located on a separate farm, ensuring your comfort is well-supported. In addition to a dedicated work vehicle for your operational duties, the employer also offers the potential for casual work opportunities for your partner, depending on their level of skill and experience.
You will be joining an operation that prioritises professional development, offering clear pathways for further training and advancement within a business that truly values the contribution of its team members.
