Registered Nurse (RN) – NDIS Community Catheter Care | Singleton, NSW
Nurselink Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide catheter care for an NDIS participant living in his family home in Singleton, NSW.
This is a community-based nursing role supporting a male participant diagnosed with Huntington's Disease. The successful nurse will be responsible for routine catheter changes approximately every four weeks, while delivering protected, respectful, and person-centred care.
About the Role
- Community nursing visits in Singleton, NSW
- Routine catheter changes (approximately every 4 weeks)
- Monitor for signs of infection or catheter-related complications
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with the participant, family, and care team
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with NDIS and clinical best practices
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated competency and experience in male catheterisation and catheter changes
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
